Bill, Bill, Bill. Still paying for that cigar trick.
It was Hillary Clinton's night and Bubba played the devoted hubby. Tonight, it's Bill's turn to speak. By then, the moon will be moving into Leo, Bill's sun sign. As some of you know, when the daily moon is in your Sun Sign, it's your Power Day, when things tend to go your way. So it's looking good for Bill, right? "Luck" is on his side. Or is it?
Bill Clinton, born on Aug 19, 1946, has a late degree Leo sun. (If this is confusing, my apologies). His Power Day (when the daily moon is conjunct and close in degree to your sun sign) really begins in earnest tomorrow. So if you must choose between two Power Days, and you know your chart, choose the day when the moon is closest in degree to your sun sign. The tighter the orb (the distance in degree between your natal sun and the daily moon), the better.
Tonight weepy Cancer moon will be void when tonight's Democratic Convention begins. It goes VOID of COURSE at 5:13pm PDT. Expect the unexpected. When the moon leaps into Leo prime time at 7:51pm PDT, the whole tone of the convention could change dramatically. Impressive displays of bravado and strength may replace those heartfelt Cancer moon messages we've been hearing. Oh, we will see tears, especially from Bill, who cries at the drop (get a grip, man!), but they may be theatrically induced. I'm thinking...that Bill Clinton might be speaking just as the moon changes signs.
Should be a great show.
The secret to good acting is complexity. A good actor creates a fascinating subtext, one that the audience 'gets' subconsciously, while mouthing words that are incongruent. That...tension between what is observed, heard, and understood cognitively, and the more truthful underlying message, is what makes well-crafted acting so compelling.
Hillary's "forceful" endorsement of Obama was unconvincing to anyone with keen eyes and ears.
Hillary Clinton, addressing a hall full of pumped up supporters (she did get 18 million votes), managed to get several messages across, simultaneously. Did you notice how she.....s l o w e d down and emphasized HER political aspirations.
BTW- Notice, although she mentioned her role as mother and Democrat, she did not say she came as a WIFE. Ouch. Hardly unintentional. Hillary's a Scorpio, a survivalist, and in the end, there isn't a Scorpion alive that wouldn't choose itself. The most essential thing in acting is to have a clear intention. If an actor's choices support that intention, the spoken lines will convey a strong sense of truth. Same thing in life, by the way. KNOW YOUR INTENTIONS! Hillary's motivation? To protect her political career. Mission accomplished.
This one's for the girls. Of either gender: Hillary's orange was ridiculously wrong. Maybe, maybe for a Gemini moon, when almost anything bright and lively goes, but moon sign appropriateness aside, I'd like to give that traveling pantsuit a one-way-ticket to Kingdom Come. And if you must do Orange, maybe a coral lipstick instead of a deep wine?
She'll be back...
Bill Clinton, a "Look at me!" Leo, is a passionate entertainer. Bill also has Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto in Leo. It will be interesting to see how Bill manages to express his support for Barack Obama verbally, while harboring feelings of deep dislike for him. Obama has never really acknowledged Bill's Presidential contributions. And I'm sure Obama has his reasons.
If Bill's a good actor, he'll 'overcompensate' for his unshakeable animosity (an old acting trick) by overstating Obama's accolades, a technique delights the simple, thoroughly confuses the mildly intuitive, and amuses the wise.
Obama's VP pick Scorpio Joe Biden's up tonight, too.
Should be a great show.
